As you draw your sword,
the figure stops and takes something from the pouch at his waist.
As he limps closer you can see that this creature is a BLACK ELF;
tall and thin, with arrowhead ears and one lame leg.
In his hand he holds a small device of some sort.
He sees you, manipulates the device,
and suddenly it becomes a stiletto sword in his hand!
or lower your sword and talk to him ?
