The Citadel of Chaos

Runestones is a somewhat dangerous game, but the prizes are high.
Before the game begins, your Games Master, who is an apprentice sorcerer,
casts a Spell on a rock, which will cause it to explode some time later.
The players stand in a circle and toss the rock from one to another around the circle.
When the rock explodes, the player holding it is out of the game — and winds up with badly burned hands!
The remaining players are given another Runestone to toss around again
and the game continues until there is only one player left.
Onlookers bet on the players but, before they can bet,
they must contribute 3 Gold Pieces each to the prize money.
In this game you will stand to win 36 Gold Pieces, at the risk of injuring your hands.
Having chosen this option, you must play the game at least once,
but you may continue to play for as long as you like.
If you win, you will claim 36 Gold Pieces for each game you play.

When you have had enough you may either play Six Pick,

Knifey-Knifey,

or you may leave the gaming room.
