In fact there's something for everybody young or old so welcome to a real quality experience where you can be sure of a full day's entertainment whatever the weather. Dairyland Farmworld first opened to the public on August 2nd 1975.
The Milking Parlour
Over 140 Friesian cows are milked every day in our merry-go-round parlour, the first of its kind in the country. It's the very heart of the farm and designed to allow visitors an unequalled view of modern milking as it actually happens. Learn how cows produce milk and see how Cornish dairy products are made - clotted cream, butter and real ice cream.
The Heritage Centre
Discover three hundred years of Cornish farming history in this unique and fascinating all-weather facility. Covering all aspects of rural life in the West-country, this extraordinary collection of machinery, memorabilia, artefacts, tools and ephemera offers you the chance for a real hand s-on experience and you'll find more than a few surprises!... gran's washing machine for example or how a pelton wheel gets pressure up. But be careful though - there's so much of interest you might find yourself here all day!
Farmpark & Playground
Kids can really go to town here!... or to be more precise they can go to the country here with masses of rides, play equipment and entertainment that will keep them happy for hours! There are our unique mini JCB's, Cable rides, Junior Rally-Karts, Pony and Hay rides, an assault course and all the animals. Meet a whole host of cuddly creatures including Piglets, Hens, Kids and Lambs, Rabbits, Donkeys, Chinchillas and Chipmunks.
Take time to stroll and explore the trail, enjoy the landscape and find all kinds of wildlife, flora and fauna in peace and quiet. Our award-winning trail around seventy five acres of carefully conserved landscape includes a secluded valley, woodland and trout lakes. It's a relaxing experience with plenty of information and resting points along the way. So take your time to unwind and enjoy this unspoiled natural adventure.

This is the home of Cream Teas, Clotted Cream and Picnics and we haven't forgotten it! There is a wide choice of places around DairyLand including the Nature Trail where you can enjoy your picnic surrounded by natural colour whether you bring your own food or stock up with delicious goodies from our Tea-stop. There are all sorts of fresh dairy produce to take home including our own clotted cream, butter, milk and cheese. No visit is complete without sampling our range of real dairy ice creams - in a variety of delicious flavours and made here in the Ice creamery. "Proper ansom," as they say!
Brass Rubbing Centre
Located within the Gift-shop, the Brass Rubbing Centre is the ideal place to create a beautiful memento of your visit. There are numerous 'replica' brasses featuring Kings and Queens, Knights in armour, animals and dinosaurs. So roll up your sleeves and have fun!
Spend a while in the Millstream Garden and watch the Victorian working wheels turning every day, horse rounds, corn mills, turbines, hydrams and waterwheels.
Tractor House and Smithy
In the Tractor House and Smithy you can see a super restored collection of World War One tractors. They look weird and wonderful now, but they pulled their weight once! Also see how the blacksmith works, his tools, his furnace and the iron work he might have made.
