Animals of all sorts

Children will really enjoy a visit to Trenouth Rare Breeds Centre. It is a proper working farm with hundreds of loveable animals; everything from piglets and chicks to Shire Horse and Guanaco.

Trenouth Rare Breeds Centre

There's always plenty for you to do, whether it's grooming the donkeys, feeding the goats or even watching the sheep shearing and other seasonal jobs on the farm. And because this is a working farm, you really can get close to the animals in their natural habitat. Visitors are encouraged to handle the smaller animals and younger children, especially love to play with the rabbits, puppies and kittens.

We have a delightful, circular nature trail which runs down through the woods and around the lake - an ideal spot for a picnic lunch. Bring your rod along and you could enjoy a lazy afternoon coarse fishing on the lake.
